We are pleased to announce that MJW has transitioned to a full year tuition model. All prospective students are required to complete the following steps before attending auditions and orientation day.

Build your foundational understanding of jazz harmony, chord progressions, musical structure, and the rich history of jazz

Develop your spontaneous creative voice, learn the language of jazz, and study solos through transcription
🎺 Instrumental Technique
Group coaching sessions focused on your specific instrument with expert guidance
🎭 Performance Combos
Small ensemble experience with monthly public performances for eligible students

Showcase your skills in four major public concerts throughout the year

Schedule: Please note that some aspects of the MJW schedule are subject to change. However, if a workshop or rehearsal is cancelled for the month, it will be made up to ensure you receive the full value of your membership.
Commitment: Students are expected to maintain their membership for the entire year.
Official Schedule: A detailed performance and workshop schedule will be shared with all registered students at orientation.
