After-School Program Registration is Now Open for 2022-2023 School Year
The Memphis Jazz Workshop provides a safe place for young people to learn, explore the arts and grow when out of school. Our qualified and caring staff focus on nurturing the development of each student. Please read the information below regarding Memphis Jazz Workshop After-School 22/23 as there have been some changes to our program registration procedures. Please note that the After School Program and Saturday Workshop are different programs. Please read the information below very carefully so that you enroll correctly.
Typical After School Student Schedule
3 p.m. Sign-in and group music class time
3-3:30 p.m. Snack and group music lessons
3:30-4 p.m. Outside time and/or independent practice
4-4:30 p.m. Homework/ Tutoring
4:30-6:00 p.m. Music Exploration and Enrichment clubs
Must-Knows for Enrolling
- Programs are closed the week before school starts (Aug. 22-26), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the week of Christmas (Dec. 26-30), and Memorial Day
- The first day of MJW AfterSchool Program will begin Monday, February 6, 2023.
- Registration opens October 31, 2022 and closes December 19, 2022. Those who register after December 19th may have a later start date.
- Hours are from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM; School’s Out days are 8:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Registration is not complete until parent receives an email from MJW confirming student enrollment and registration.
